Summer for youth and young adults is a time to work summer jobs, take trips, attend summer camps and enjoy spending time with friends and family. Oftentimes, when youth are unsupervised, summer can be a dangerous time. This year, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) would like to encourage every parent who will be unable to supervise their children throughout the day and the night to find structured activities in which they can enroll their little loved ones to ensure an extra level of safety for them. Please call around to various camps to find the right one for your family’s budget. MPD will offer the following activities:
